Life-threatening conditions and symptoms that should not be ignored in children

Every child occasionally has a fever, a tummy ache, or complains of leg pain – but how can you tell when it's just a "regular infection" and when it's something really serious?

This course has been created for parents and caregivers who want to better understand the signals sent by their child's body – both in emergencies and in everyday ailments. You will learn how to differentiate symptoms that require urgent intervention from those that can be safely monitored, and how to act quickly and effectively when necessary.

During the course, you will learn:

🔹 How to recognize emergency situations, such as:

  • choking, apnea, loss of consciousness, seizures,

  • high fever with concerning symptoms,

  • allergic reactions and anaphylactic shock,

  • injuries and burns.

🔹 Which "everyday" symptoms may indicate a serious illness:

  • abdominal pain – when is it constipation, and when is it appendicitis?

  • fever – how long can it last, and what should raise concern?

  • leg and joint pain – a symptom of growth, or the beginning of an illness?

  • apathy, loss of appetite, behavioral changes – is it just an infection?

  • rashes – when is it an allergy, and when is it an infectious disease?

🔹 How to communicate with a doctor and convey symptoms to expedite an accurate diagnosis.

🔹 How to prepare for a visit to the emergency room and when to go there.

Course format:

The training is conducted in an accessible and practical manner – it includes presentations, case discussions, downloadable materials, and in the extended version, simulations of first aid.

Who is it for?

For parents of children of all ages, caregivers, grandparents, preschool teachers – anyone who wants to gain peace of mind and confidence in difficult situations.
