We invite you to participate in the practical first aid training "Stop The Bleed."
THE TRAINING IS INTENDED FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO LEARN HOW TO HANDLE A PATIENT WHO HAS SUSTAINED AN INJURY.
The "Stop The Bleed" training is aimed at everyone. It doesn't matter what profession you have or what you do in life. A massive hemorrhage can occur in any life situation, such as a traffic accident, working in a workshop, a knife attack, or even a gunshot wound.
Can you stop such bleeding...?
We will teach you how to manage a victim who has sustained an injury. You will learn the steps to assess the patient and properly dress the wounds.
During the training, we will cover the following topics:
- basics of human anatomy and physiology
- tactical and special dressings
- conducting an assessment of the victim according to the acronym "MARCHE"
- controlling massive hemorrhages, including applying the most popular tourniquets such as CAT, SOFT, SAM XT, and wound packing in transitional areas
- instrument-assisted airway management
- treating penetrating chest wounds
- recognizing hypovolemic shock in the victim
- protecting the victim from hypothermia and head injuries
- preparing for transport
- and more
We will start the training with a multimedia presentation. Then we will move on to practical training blocks, where we will practice on the latest medical equipment. We will also conduct simulated scenarios to test the skills acquired by participants in stressful conditions.
The entire training will conclude with a final exam.
A positive result in the final exam will result in the issuance of a certificate along with a supplement.
Everyone will receive training materials related to the topics discussed above.
